If you are taking the fioricet for mi grains and the celexa for anxiety, there is not a problem. You should contact your doctor if you are having side effects.

I use 4head for minor headaches but it just doesn’t touch migraines! Please help!

You can take other drugs along with the triptan. I don’t know what dosage you’re taking, but you can take a 100mg tablet then repeat in an hour if it’s not working. I do the imitrex self injector and is much more effective than the pills. Other than triptans, I take a medicine called Indocin, which is a suppository (I know, yuck) that really works. I take an Indocin and a phenergan (I get nausea), then repeat the indocin in an hour. If that still doesn’t do it, I do an Imitrex shot. If that doesn’t work, I take an oxycodone and sleep it off. You may just try another triptan (Zomig, Maxalt, etc) and see if that works better.

The best thing to do is call your pharmacist and ask him/her if it can be opened. Not all capsules are timed release and your pharmacist will know if you can open it or not. Doctors are too hard to reach through the day and usually call at the end of the day, you can speak to the pharmacist within minutes. I always call my pharmacist when I have questions about medication.

if you have been taking the meds through your whole pregnancy you shouldn’t stop, the baby can get withdrawls if you do it cold turkey as for yourself too. If you are really worried about withdrawls after the baby is born breast feed and slowly ween her/him off of the breast milk and that should lessen any side effects the baby has if any at all. I was on pain meds when i was pregnant and i breast feed and bottle feed for the first couple of weeks and that will help the baby slowly and safely get it out of his/her system.also your dr. should be able to give the answers you seek and you can look on line. good luck and congrats

Well, you are taking some meds that have a stimulating effect; Wellbutrin, prozac, and fioricet with a depressant; xanax. xanax is a benzodiazepine and fioricet contains a Barbiturate butalbital. Both sedate you; however butalbital is very strong, and barbiturates are used for euthanasia in strong doses. However, the caffeine counteracts the extreme effect it may have. However, this cocktail of drugs is sort of self-defeating. You are combating anxiety, while at the same time creating it with the caffeine and possibly wellbutrin. I suggest you find better drugs that treat multiple symptoms. Cymbalta fights muscle pain and is an anti-depressant. I assume it also treats anxiety. You don’t really need to be on Prozac and Wellbutrin. The fioricet and Xanax are the worse two. If you take too many it could sedate you into a coma. However, your doctor prescribed them too you so you should be okay. But remember, you are taking to drugs that are controlled substances. They are strong and can be dangerous. I suggest dumping the fioricet and zanax and prozac. Try wellbutrin and Effexor for a while. Effexor fights anxiety unlike any other anti-depressant.

Your poor mum, migraines are horrible.

It is not unusual that people are sick at the same time and actually that can be a good sign because it shows that the body is getting rid of the toxins.

I have attached details of how we treat migraine with aromatherapy but also how to use acupressure to help and you can start using this to help her pretty much straight away. If you look at your hand between the thumb and the first finger there is a fleshy but a bit like it is webbed, if you pinch that with your thumb and first finger you will find that your mums is very painful. Squeezing it gently will help to clear the migraine. That sounds odd I know but if you read the acupressure page about the liver meridian (which runs to that point on your thumb) you will see how it works.
