Does anyone have home remedies for a migraine?

My friend is in the middle of a bad migraine. Right now, we’re using the q-tip method and hoping for the best, but any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Tylenol extra strength 500mg but for longer than a day or two. Also alot of water. Then just try to take your mind off it by watching TV or doing something that keeps you stimulated so you don’t think about the pain

Very cold ice water on a wash cloth then apply to forehead or side of head has always helped mine.
