Migraine ?

Whats the best thing for a migraine, I’ve taken Ibuprofen but did not seem to do anything at all, that was a few hours ago. Will Nurofen help? do i even have migraine? I’ve never felt so much pain in my head before where it actually hurts. Every time i lay down it seems to go away but when i get back up it comes back and hurts bad i cant describe the pain but its at the front of my head and hurtsssssssssssssssssssss. What do you recommend?

Chosen Answer:

Tylenol Extra Strength Rapid Release Gel Caps.
Put an ice pack on the back of your neck it will contract the blood vessels.
Go in a dark room & take a nap.

This will also work for tension headaches which can be in front of head like a vise.

For sinus headaches take an antihistamine like Benedryl & Mucinex with lots of water (it will help thin & loosen mucus)
Use saline nasal spray several times/day.

Feel better

it could be your sinuses too!!! but if it is a migraine you can use excedrine migraine or if you will go to the doctor the best medicine for migraines is imitrex.

Plain old aspirin is the best I have found. I have had migraines for years and have found that they are a allergic reaction to something. If I eat to much chocolate then I will get one.
My suggestion if you eat anything that causes irregularity like cheese or greasy foods. Maybe eggs, milk, peanut butter (peanuts) anything with white flour like white bread are all common allergens. Do you have them often, like once a week or once a month. then you can experiment with the above foods by stop eating them , one at a time for a while and see if that helps. good luck

Try aspirin. but be careful!!! check the label on headache medicines first. it might have some side-effects. or get a good rest and i’m sure your migraine will go away.
