What are some ways to alleviate a migraine?

Also what is the difference between a migraine and a headache?

Chosen Answer:

Migraine headaches tend to be specific to one side of the head (mine occur only on my right side). Migraines are also often accompanied by nausea, and sometimes vomiting. Many migraine sufferers also experience sensory related symptoms: light may be painful, and noise agonizing. For some, including myself, even motion can trigger nausea, or vomiting, during a migraine episode.

Migraines also tend to have triggers that are specific to the individual, and which run the range of specific foods, to lifestyle triggers, to stress, etc.

    Dear Friends,
do you know the side effects of the drugs which you are taking for migraine. I was having the most severe form of migraine head ache with nausea, aura severe head ache ,vomiting ,sleeplessness, irritability….………
I was taking many drugs for the pain but finally became a victim of the side effects.
In a long run drugs will cause
•ulcers and other types of internal bleeding

•difficulty thinking, and trouble functioning , dizziness, muscle weakness, racing heartbeat, chest pressure, and warm sensations.

•can cause serious side effects such as nausea ,Sleepiness and fatigue, and in some cases have even been the cause of strokes or heart attacks.

•opiates have the same milder properties as heroin, and as such have some of the same side effect problems of dependence.
•The most common problem with migraine medications is rebound headaches. Rebound headaches occur when the body has headache pain due to taking too much medication over a period of time.

Too rushed to go into detail but grounding/earthing works. I’m too lazy to walk barefoot every day, especially in winter! I wear a scalar energy pendant and haven’t had a single migraine since. I’ve also just bought some ‘earthing sheets’ for my bed as I’m curious – got such amazing results from the pendant so will be interesting to see what the sheets do too!

    Best of luck :)
