How can people work when they are suffering a migraine?

I don’t even see how it’s possible. You can’t even see cause that stupid light crap that stays for like half an hour sometimes more and then the pain is unbearable and of course the vomiting. I can’t even think about anything BUT the pain when I’m suffering a migraine. So people who say they were at work with a migraine and continued the rest of the day – are they lying?? Is it just a bad headache??

Chosen Answer:

Personally, yes I think people who say they have a migraine actually have a headache. Big difference between a migraine and a headache, as I’m sure you know!! I’ve suffered from migraines since I was 4 years old and there is no way that I can continue at work when I have one. The pain is crippling, actually takes your breath away its so painful, can’t see a damn thing (I lose complete vision in my left eye, right is always fine) lus I’m really violently sick with them. I know the pain won’t start to subside until I’ve thrown up for the last time, I always know when its done and I can leave the bathroom and least I know some relief from the pain is in sight.

Migraines are really awful and unless people actually get them, they have no idea what they’re like.

Like anything, migraines very from light to heavy, depending upon need. The answer is, they are not lying.

I can only assume that the “light crap” you refer to is either migraine aura and/or ocular migraine. Both of these phenomena as well as the migraine headache itself are of a supernatural origin, which relates to the “depending upon need” statement made above. The migraine headache and associated prodromal symptoms are caused by a spirit.

The next time you experience a migraine, confirm a spiritual cause by holding an open and relaxed hand above, but not touching, the focus of the pain. You will feel a tingling sensation that will be the spirit.

Now think of the art you have seen depicting the saints and their halos. The halo in art represents the so-called Holy Spirit. It is this entity that is causing you pain. The migraine is disciplinary in nature, so that the sufferer avoids sinful behavior.

By embracing righteous behavior and avoiding sinful behavior, one can avoid the migraine.

By the way, it might interest you to to know that the spiritual cause of migraines was first indicated in the Ebers Papyrus, more than 3,500 years ago. This is considered to be a superstition by modern science, but it isn’t.
